Westlaw UK Student Training Tutorial
Welcome to the Westlaw UK Student Training Tutorial - this training tutorial is an interactive tool designed to guide you through every aspect of content and functionality on the new
Westlaw UK. The Tutorial will take less than one hour to complete and will give you a step-by-step guide to searching, browsing material types, the research tools available, and printing and emailing your results.
Throughout the Tutorial you will see our Understanding Lesson pages. These have been developed to help ensure you have fully understood the relevant parts of the Tutorial. For example, at the end of the Cases section you will be prompted to answer a question on searching / browsing Cases. To answer the Understanding Lesson you will need to use Westlaw UK. Use the boxes to fill in your answers and once completed, click the Show Answer button to see both the answer and method. You can then choose to either Go back to, for example, the start of the Cases part of the Tutorial, or continue to the next section.
Take the Test
At the end of the Tutorial you will have the option to test your knowledge of Westlaw UK with our interactive training test.
You will need to use Westlaw UK to answer 10 multiple choice questions, based on topics covered by the Training Tutorial.
Complete the test successfully by answering 6 or more answers correctly and you can download a Westlaw UK Training Certificate.
You will also be automatically entered into a prize draw to win a laptop.
