What's New Westlaw UK – September 2008
Following on from last week's update Westlaw UK alerts will run later in the day, rather than 9am, this Friday 26 September. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. This service interruption enables us to implement the latest Westlaw UK legislative enhancement - Cumulative Amendments.
New on Westlaw UK Legislation - Cumulative Amendments
Westlaw UK legislation includes unique point in time searching and more historical versions than any other source. Each version of a provision contains an amendment footnote detailing how it was amended and a link to the amending provision.
With the introduction of cumulative amendments on Monday 29 September, each version will contain multiple footnotes detailing how the provision has been amended over time from its enactment.
Westlaw UK cumulative amendments include:
– updated text (using square brackets)
– amending provision
– in force date of the amendment
Cumulative amendments will be displayed both within the full text and within the PDF of the entire Act.
