Special Report on the Bribery Act 2010 by Thomson Reuters GRC

BRIBERY ACT 2010 - A SPECIAL REPORT

Thomson Reuters GRC recently carried out a survey of its clients around the world to assess how prepared they are for the Bribery Act 2010 and the practical steps they have taken to implement the Act. Respondents included practitioners from a complete cross section of control functions within organisations, ranging from compliance officers, risk managers, in-house legal, money laundering reporting officers and internal auditors to chief executive and chief financial officers.

The results of the survey highlight both areas of potential concern as well as emerging best practice which should assist all firms in benchmarking their approach to the prevention of bribery and corruption.

The full results of this survey are presented in a Special Report, the aim of which is to inform all firms and their senior managers of the scope and likely international impact of the Bribery Act 2010, together with analysis of the other latest global developments on the prevention of bribery and corruption.
