Did You Know? Feel restricted by the Current Awareness screen?

The links on the Current Awareness screen allow you to go quickly and easily to the recent materials relating to that topic, publication type or date. But you can also create your own search very easily using multiple criteria with the Query Wizard.

The wizard helps you to create your own search by asking you to select publication types, topical areas, free text terms and a date restriction (including Before and/or After and Specific Date).

From the Westlaw archive…

216 S.E.2d 356 - a case report written entirely in rhyme
“…The jury went out
To consider his case
And then they returned
The defendant to face.
'What verdict, Mr. Foreman?'
The learned judge inquired.
'Guilty, your honor.'
On Brown's face-no smile….”

149 US 304 – legally speaking, is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable?

New ‘Pay as You Go’ rate*

For International and Practice Area only subscribers...

From February 15th, Westlaw UK pay-as-you-go rates will increase. These increases are the first for over 3 years and the average increase is 8%. The changes will primarily affect international pay-as-you-go users of UK content. However, UK customers subscribing to a Practice Area Service who do not also subscribe to Westlaw UK will be subject to the new rates if they access UK content outside their Practice Area subscription.

For Westlaw UK customers in the United Kingdom, this will have no impact upon current subscription rates. The only UK content accessed on a pay-as-you-go basis by Westlaw UK customers is commentary, for which pay-as-you-go rates remain unchanged.

Details of the new charges will be available via Chargeback. For further assistance, please contact Customer Support on 0800 028 2200.

* Not applicable to academic insitutions
