What’s the Nature of Your Suit?

KNOS codes are case-type designations providing you with an easy way to identify suits of the same or similar subject area.

Key Nature of Suit (KNOS) codes will be added to selected docket databases and the initial release will include selected state courts in Ohio, Georgia, Illinois and California, with more jurisdictions to be added in the coming weeks.

Teleflex Inc. v. KSR International (E.D. MI)

In no uncertain terms, Supreme Court Justices made it clear that they are upset with the nation's patent system, in essence blaming the lawyers and the appeals court for the mess. It seems that changing the three-part test for obviousness is inevitable. What will replace it remains to be seen. View trial documents critical to this case available now on Westlaw.
