Term Frequency for Cases

To narrow down a large number of results you can now focus on documents that have terms or phrases appearing multiple times. For example, if you are interested in 'tax relief' you can search cases that have the phrase appearing multiple times. 

Enter your query and then click the Term Frequency link to the right of the search box. Now select how often you would like your terms or phrases to appear and click OK.

West eLearning Center: A Quick Way to Learn the Basics

The West eLearning Center is an online training site to help you increase your proficiency using Westlaw. You can select the topics you wish to learn about, at a time and place most convenient for you.

The West eLearning Center allows you to browse course listings using intuitive navigational aids, choose between audio and nonaudio versions, track course completion and share useful lessons with colleagues. The short courses will take 5 to 15 minutes to cover and you can do them at your own pace.

Some of the topics covered by the courses include:

Did you Know?

To keep track of the alerts you have set up on Westlaw you can now get a simple report showing the alerts you have currently running and/or those that are saved or have expired. The report covers Westclips, Keycite Alerts, Docket Alerts and Profiler/Agency Alerts.

 

 

Access the Alert Centre using the link in the top left-hand corner of the Westlaw screen and click the Alert Summary Report link to choose your options for the report.
