IP Authentication
If you have a large number of students and staff that need to access Westlaw UK, we can set up your account so that you can get straight onto the service without the need for everyone to have their own username and password.
IP authentication makes logging on to Westlaw UK quick and easy for everyone.
Things that you will need:
- A fixed IP address or range of IP addresses
- Dynamic server-assigned addresses on individual computers. Please note that they will need to use a gateway with
a static address to access the internet
IP authentication will not work with dial-up access and most home broadband services.
If you would like more information, or if you would like to set up IP access, please contact your Account Manager or customer.service@westlaw.co.uk.
IP authentication is also available for Lawtel.
